How To Take Great Photographs

" A Photograph can either make or break a magazine"

When taking a picture you need to take into account the key visual elements like:

  • Colour
  • Tone
  •  Pattern
  •  Line
  • Shape
  • Texture
  •  Form
  •  and many more
But also mainly concentrate on:
- Framing, Landscape/Portrait
- Viewpoint, the different angles
- Depth,
- Perspective

Also:
  •  Image planes like foreground, middle ground and background.
  • Balance
  • Proportion
  • Symmetry

Rankin photography- He focuses on lighting, props and setting, making the models do different poses and strike strange facial expressions. Here are photographs that I class as a good, high quality picture as all of the key concepts to taking a good picture have been thought about for example lighting.
